New York Yankees 2021 Spring Training Radio & TV Schedules

The bad news is that John Sterling and Suzyn Waldman will not be making the trip to Florida for 2021 Spring Training games due to COVID19 concerns. The good news is Rickie Ricardo will be filling in, so Yankee fans are covered!

For the second consecutive season COVID has changed up the Yankees annual Spring Training regimen and schedule. While it appears we’ll get in almost a full month of scrimmages, the normal exhibition tour of the Sunshine State will not happen — as in no slugfests against the Red Sox’ Spring squad this year, for starters.

How do I listen to WFAN (660 AM) broadcasts online? Visit Radio.com and download their app (which connects you to over 250 stations nationwide), or get it from either the Apple App Store or Google Play. Or visit the WFAN site directly for the feed.

Other methods include downloading the MLB At-Bat app (for a modest fee: $2.99/month or $19.99 for the full season). Highly recommended because it gives you access to every team’s home and away radio broadcasts throughout the season, including Spring Training and the post-season. There’s also an archive where you can go back and listen to past games.

Will fans be allowed into Spring Training games? The short answer is yes, but exactly how many is yet to be seen. Our guess is around 2,500.

Who will fill in for John and Suzyn in Florida? That will be handled by Rickie Ricardo, the Spanish-language play-by-play voice of the Yankees.
