The good news is that the first place Boston Red Sox finish out their season with four games against the Houston Astros — who are still vying for home field advantage in the postseason. WC Home Field Locked, East Still In Play; Sevy Takes Mound


With a start tonight, Luis Severino will be on schedule to pitch in Monday night’s Wild Card play-in game, presumably against the Minnesota Twins. But — and a big but — the Red Sox might make the pennant race a little more interesting.
