McCarthy Not Sharp in 5-4 Loss to Birds

GAME 157: Brandon McCarthy was not on top of his game tonight as the O’s managed to get a hit in every inning. In rare outing where his command was shaky, McCarthy allowed 5 earned runs in 5.1 innings, including three home runs. Former Yankee Kelly Johnson would hit one of them in the second reminding the Yankees that he still has it.
