Just when things were starting to look up. The Yanks are 6-1 in their last 7 games and maybe ready to get on a serious roll. What they don’t need is Jacob deGrom (6-7, 1.77 ERA, $12,300) putting a stick in their spokes. Maybe Sevy can match zeros with him and the Yankees can go to town on the Met’s pen. We’ll see.

For your Draft Kings lineup, you can’t overlook Giancarlo Stanton ($5,200), who is 9-25 with a double and 4 home runs against deGrom. Brett Gardner is 4-14 with a home run, and Gleyber Torres is 2-3 but not swing the bat particularly well since coming back from the DL.
Since 2015, deGrom is 0-2 over 2 starts at Yankee Stadium with an 8.03 ERA, allowing 11 earned runs (including 5 home runs) in 12.1 innings.

When Sevy (15-5, 3.11 ERA, $11,800) takes the bump tonight, he’ll face a Mets lineup he has not see too often. He has a 2-0 record (1 start) over 10.2 innings, allowing 0 earned runs and striking out 14. The Yankees need that Luis Severino to show up tonight. On the current roster only Todd Frazier and Joey Bautista have taken Severino deep, and both will be in the starting lineup tonight.
The Wise Guys
The Mets are the favorite tonight with a stingy over/under at 7. The Mets are 2-5 straight up in the last 7 games at Yankee Stadium, and the total has gone over in 6 of the last 8 contests between these clubs in The Bronx.
Remember this is for speculation only, not meant to be taken as gospel. And don’t forget to double-check your lineup(s) just prior to game time as the weather may create havoc for you. We exist under the manta that “You can’t predict baseball” but it’s fun trying. Good luck with your lineup and let’s go Yankees!
