Much like our beloved New York Yankees of late, we’ll be checking out for a bit. As the summer of 2018 winds down before Labor Day Weekend, Moiderer’s Row will be on a brief hiatus and we’ll see you in time for the pivotal series in Oakland starting on September 3rd. Enjoy these waning days of summer, and let’s go Yankees!
The Bronx Bombers have to keep the pedal to the metal if they want to play baseball deep in October, and that means mugging mediocre teams like Tampa. Their shaky second half start might be starting to straighten out, but is it too late? Check our Draft Kings lineup thoughts for tonight’s contest.
Just when things were starting to look up. The Yanks are 6-1 in their last 7 games and maybe ready to get on a serious roll. What they don’t need is Jacob deGrom putting a stick in their spokes. Maybe Sevy can match zeros with him and the Yankees can go to town on the Met’s pen. We’ll see.
The Yankees need to wrap up their 4-game series with Texas today on a high note, as the Red Sox refuse to lose and the top Wild Card slot is no sure thing. Check out our Draft Kings cheatsheet for today’s contest.
The Yankees will try to get back on track in game 3 of this 4-game set with the Texas Rangers behind the pitching of Lance Lynn. Check out some quick Draft Kings notes on this contest.
With Masahiro Tanaka on the hill, the Yankees are looking for their 5th straight win as they take on the Texas Rangers in game 2 of their 4-game series. Mike Minor goes for Texas as New York tries to hold the line or lower Boston’s 8.5 game lead in the AL East. Check out our Draft Kings tips for tonight’s contest.
Our apologies, no fantasy cheatsheet this evening, but we’ll be back early tomorrow with the game 2 matchups between the Yanks and Rangers. Here’s to a solid outing from James Anthony Happ and an evening of potent offense from the Yankees. And all the luck in the world to the Toronto Blue Jays, they’re going to need it.
Luis Severino mans the bump for the Bombers tonight in the finale of a three game set against the host Chicago White Sox. He is coming off a string of shaky starts and some are wondering if he’s all there physically. Check out our Draft Kings cheatsheet for tonight’s contest.
It was only the Chicago White Sox but you have to start winning somewhere. But maybe not so fast. These rebuilding Sox have some guys who can rake, and they’ve just begun to play some decent ball lately. New York needs a sweep badly, and CC Sabathia will face Reynaldo Lopez in the middle game of a three-game series. Weather could be a factor, so check the forecasts at the last minute.
It was almost better the Yankees got swept in Beantown. Otherwise we’d been listening to all the horsespit about how “we got something positive out this, it’s the turning point, yadda, yaada, yadda”. Give me a break. It’s time to focus on finishing with a better record than the surging Oakland A’s among other goals. Check out our Draft Kings preview for tonights contest with the White Sox.
Now that the pressure is off, and expectations for success are no longer in place, look for the Yankees to light up the scoreboard in Fenway Park today. Just because. Yes, there is a mild coincidence that Boston lefty David Price is on the mound, but still. So today is the day to finally draw up a few Draft Kings lineups stacked with New York Yankees.
You just know Red Sox Nation is hoping for a one-two knockout combination today. Knock the Yankees yet another game back in the standings, and destroy Chance Adams, of one of their prized pitching prospects. Check out our Draft Kings predictions for today’s clash — which may be postponed unless the forecast changes.
The calendar has turned a page and the Yankees need ace Luis Severino to do the same. Put a forgettable month of July behind him and return to his un-hittable bad self. Sevy will take the ball against Boston’s Rick Porcello in the second game of this critical 4-game showdown. See how we can improve your Draft Kings lineup for this contest.
Ya gotta wanna. I don’t know where that phrase originated, but one thing is clear. It does not seem to apply to the 2018 New York Yankees. You simply do not let an inferior opponent beat you — and beat you consistently. That means either *you* are the inferior team, or you lack the desire to win. Tonight, the Yanks will go from worst to first in terms of AL East opponents. What could possibly go wrong? As CC Sabathia takes the mound for New York, don’t miss our Draft Kings rundown for this evening’s clash.
