Youngblood Yanks Go For Sweep On Old Timer's Day

No team in no sport can do Old Timer’s Day the way the New York Yankees can do it, and it just gets better every year. Among the first-timers this time are Jason Giambi, Andy Pettitte, Aaron Boone and Nick Swisher. Pictured above is Andy Pettitte (left) chatting with Mel Stottlemyre (#30) in the dugout before the 2009 Old Timer’s Day festivities began. The New York Yankees host the Tampa Bay Rays

25-Over Yanks Face Tampa's Ryne Stanek

The Yankees go for the series clinching win against Tampa this afternoon with their ace on the mound and their offense showing signs of life. It’s wasn’t a home run, but last night’s bases-clearing double by Gary Sanchez was a glimmer of hope. Luis Severino faces Tampa’s Ryne Stanek in game three of the four-game set. Check out our Yankees fantasy cheat sheet for today’s game.

Will 'Nasty' Nate Eovaldi Ruin Jonathan Loaisiga's MLB Debut?

Tonight’s pitching matchup at The Stadium is a clash between a past and future high hope of New York’s starting rotation. Former Yankee Nathan Eovaldi, now a Tampa Bay Ray, and one of the top pitching prospects in the organization, Jonathan Loaisiga, will square off in game two of the four-game series between the AL East rivals. Lugo Tries To Keep Yankee Bats At Bay; Sevy Shoots for 10

Three things are working against the Mets for tonight’s finale of the Queens end the the 2018 Subway Series. Noah Syndergaard was scratched from starting. They’ve lost 8 games in a row. And the Bronx Bombers are so overdue for a top-of-the-lineup-to-bottom offensive outburst it’s not funny. Check our Draft Kings’ showdown mode fantasy picks for this matchup. New York Yankees vs New York Mets : Let the Rings Do the Talking

Yankees Not Hitting And Winning, Mets Not Hitting And Losing

The Subway Series is a lot more exciting when both clubs are hitting on all cylinders, and even though the team from The Bronx is 23 games over .500, their offense is stuck in neutral, and the Mets don’t even have one. Not exactly riveting baseball. But let’s see what happens tonight. Check out our fantasy recommendations for tonight’s matchup (for Draft Kings’ ‘classic’ mode).

Yankees play the Tigers twice today!

Severino Faces Stirring Tigers Squad in Twin Bill Opener

Yankees ace Luis Severino mans the bump in the 1:05pm EST first game of today’s single-admission twin bill in The Motor City. While the Tigers have fallen from annual contention, the franchise and fans are excited about the future. Today’s draft, thanks to their terrible 2017 campaign, should provide some hope but they are far from giving up on 2018. In second place and just 2.5 behind the Cleveland Indians, Detroit is looking to slow down the Yankees offense and steal a pair today. Check out our Draft Kings ‘Showdown’ mode predictions.

The Baltimore Riots of 1861

It's Tanaka Time in Charm City

Things are going so bad around Baltimore these days, you can’t even get a straight answer on how the joint got it’s ‘Charm City’ nickname. In our humble opinion, ‘Crabtown’ or ‘Mobtown’ work better, but that’s another story. The weather is beautiful (update: no, it’s not! The game will be delayed!) and Masahiro Tanaka takes the mound for the mighty Yankees against the struggling Baltimore Orioles in game two of the three-game weekend set. Check out our fantasy lineup suggestions for today’s game and around MLB.
